Alfonso Gómez

Alfonso Gómez Palacio, a Colombian lawyer, has been prominent in the telecom sector since 1998. He led Telecom and Colombia Telecomunicaciones S.A. ESP until 2006, then served as CEO of Telefónica in Colombia until 2017. He later became CEO of Telefónica Hispanoamérica, overseeing operations in Latin American countries. Under his leadership, Telefónica Hispanoamérica achieved growth in revenue and profitability, deploying fiber optic networks and expanding mobile services to over 111 million customers by 2022.

Carolina Nieto

Carolina Nieto is an expert in political advocacy strategies, inter-institutional coordination, and corporate communications in both the private and public sectors. Her career has focused on designing and implementing public affairs strategies, corporate reputation, marketing, digital campaigns, both internal and external, and community building. Carolina Nieto previously served as Senior Director at FTI Consulting Strategic Communications and as Corporate Affairs Manager at the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce.

Raimundo Angulo

Raimundo Angulo Pizarro, an economist educated in Washington, has excelled in various roles as an agricultural entrepreneur, politician, and diplomat. Besides serving as the mayor of Cartagena and director of the National Tourism Corporation, he is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Juanfe Foundation.

Carlos Yepes

He studied law at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, has a specialization in business law, from the Universidad Externado de Colombia, and is the founder and president of the GITU Group and the Comercializadora.

He was appointed Legal Director of the Union of Banana Growers of Urabá and is part of the National Board of Andi, the Andi Foundation and the boards of directors of Contreebute (forestry-environmental company), CORBIC (neurocardiovascular institution) and the Ximena Foundation . Rico Llano. He is part of the Audit Committee of Bancolombia, the Risk Committee of Bancolombia, the External Risk Committee of Protección S.A. and member of the Medellín Bar Association. He is a delegate for Colombia in the Confecámaras Latin America Organization for Corporate Governance, OECD, and president of the Circle of Securities Issuing Companies for Latin America (OECD-IFC).

Jorge Mejía is a Business Administrator from CESA, with a Master’s Degree in Business Management from Inalde.

He has extensive experience in managerial and executive roles in marketing, sales and administration. Notable positions include General Manager of Ofiexpress, a company of the Carvajal Organization, Commercial Director of General Motors Venezolana, Sales Manager for the Southeast Region of GM Brazil, Marketing Manager for the operations of GM Brazil and GM Argentina, General Manager of Automotive La Floresta, as well as various commercial and project roles within the Corona Organization.

Born and raised in Colombia, Guillermo graduated from Babson College in 2020 with a concentration in Finance and Real Estate. He worked for 3 years originating and executing real estate investments for Midtown Capital Partners, a real estate private equity firm with +$1B in AUM. Guillermo is now the Venture Ops Associate at Miami Angels leading investment sourcing, dilligence, and execution.
